You will assist the team by executing controls and processes to meet our operational and reporting requirements that will help scale and shape our business.
You'll be working with Production Managers to develop, maintain and control a realistic master production schedule by balancing customer requirements with manufacturing capacity and materials availability.
What you'll do:
Communicates forecast and production schedule changes to sales department and key customers Collects production reports and update manual worksheets including traceability Reports productions to key customers, account holders, and customer service representatives Reviews inventory levels of ingredients and packaging materials, places orders based on customer orders, safety stocks and forecast, and maintains detailed records of purchase price information Tracks status of purchase orders to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of quality goods and correct costs Maintains updated accounting system by assigning work orders based on production schedule, issuing purchase orders, and posting productions and receiving of goods Identifies, resolves, and communicates material shortage Updates costing worksheet periodically Works with Sales Director, Financial Controller and/or customers to book enough ingredients to supply in required period, and monitors the running balance and keep informed of supply status Works in conjunction with sourcing (R&D) to implement new projects and cost reduction Plans and implements cost-effective and strategic initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency Ad-hoc projects as assigned Your skills include:
Must have experience and first hand knowledge working with Production and Clients Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills Extremely detail oriented and deadline driven Positive, enthusiastic energy with a desire to learn High school diploma required; Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred, but not required 1-3 experience related to food industry/manufacturing Robust inventory management and planning skills MS Office Suite experience is preferred, especially strong Excel Experience with MAS90, a plus This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team.
